A mixture of emotions among Palestinians living in Ireland who gathered at Leinster House

There was a mixture of joy and sadness among Palestinians living in Ireland, who gathered today at Leinster House where their flag now flies.

Ireland has officially recognised the state of Palestine, and for Palestinians here it represents a national symbol of support.

However, the families still have to live with what is happening to their loved ones back home as the Israeli attacks on Rafah continue despite international calls for ceasefire.
