A political bombshell
Sky’s Stephen Murphy said the news of Leo Varadkar’s resignation was a “political bombshell” which has left a “sense of disbelief”.
In an emotional statement delivered outside Government Buildings in Dublin, Mr Varadkar said his reasons for leaving were “both personal and political”.
