Distractions, Censorship & Family A – Smartphone & Social Media BAN! | The Millennial Cynic
Today I take a look at the news that Minister for Education Norma Foley wants to ban smartphones in secondary schools across the country, despite the fact that this already the case in the vast majority of schools. Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has gone one step further and wants a ban on social media for under 16’s across Ireland. I take a look at both proposals and see them for what I believe they truly are: distraction tactics, censorship and another attack on social media by the Irish Government.
I also take a look at the nonsense from the secondary schools SPHE book detailing “Family A”, and utterly insidious it is.
