Episode 1 – Clontarf Depot 150 Anniversary
We want to preserve, explore, and promote the heritage and history of Dublin Bus by sharing our story. Clontarf Depot is over 150 years in operation! It is the oldest of our 8 depots in Dublin.
To celebrate the history of Clontarf Depot, which commenced operation in 1873 as a tram depot and transitioned to a bus depot in January 1939, we are introducing our new ‘Historic Depot Spotlight’ series. We start at the beginning, in Clontarf with an interesting and informative tour of the depot led by Paul Finn, Engineering Manager.
