Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe will look to support those hit hardest by COVID-19 restrictions by – like other EU countries – continuing to spend aggressively next year, bolstered by the fact that state tax revenues have held up much better than expected and Ireland’s large export sector has limited the economic damage.
