Ireland – Two Gardaí violently attacked as drunk driver ploughs through check point in Cavan.

A garda was almost run over and another was violently assaulted by a motorist who attacked two officers as they attempted to execute his arrest shortly after hurtling through a checkpoint in Cavan at the weekend. The incident, which is now the subject of a major garda investigation, took place in the Crosskeys area of the county on Saturday evening. Credit to : No Risk No Reward
