Ireland’s government ‘completely out of touch’ with own people as woke agenda rejected
Sky News host Liz Storer says Ireland’s recent referendum result is another example of a western government being “completely out of touch” with its own people.
Irish voters overwhelmingly rejected a referendum to rewrite their constitution to change the definition of the word ‘family’ and to update the role of women’s’ duties in the home.
“Well, it just goes to show here’s another western government completely out of touch with the vast majority of people that they are supposed to be representing,” Ms Storer said.
“It’s a good reminder Ireland is still a very Catholic country.
“A very conservative country, and the elites in Dublin clearly have absolutely no clue about the people they are supposed to be representing.”
