Ireland’s new MINISTRY OF TRUTH. RTÉ CLARITY addresses ‘fake news and disinformation.’
RTÉ have announced they have launched a new initiative with the aim of tackling “disinformation” and “fake news.” ‘Clarity’ will focus on “disinformation, discourse, and democracy.” It’s further described as “a new strand of coverage in which its journalism will work to counter the deliberate manipulation of facts and challenge false and fake news.” The new initiative will focus on the state broadcaster’s digital and social media platforms as it strives to explain how “RTÉ verifies its quality journalism.” Credit to : No Risk No Reward
