Prevent creation of an IPAS migrant Centre there
On the night of the 12th of August into the 13th, 2024, the Gardaí pushed through the creation of a migrant centre at a hotel in Dundrum Co. Tipperary. The locals had protested, including a 24/7 encampment, against the creation of this centre for many months, but it was pushed through with overwhelming Garda numbers and legal power.
