The Cooley Peninsula is a wonderful place for a break and King John’s Castle is a fascinating site in Anglo-Norman #Carlingford Town. It’s been home to the #Norman Verdon, Lacy and Burgh families as well as being the #Irish base for the Dukes of York and their descendants.
