There is a chronic shortage of houses in Ireland and no sign of that being addressed anytime soon by the current Irish Government. First time buyers are struggling to secure property, even if they have a deposit and mortgage approved. 25 homes in Kildare were snapped up in minutes earlier this week, with many left disappointed deposit queuing for hours.
