The Biggest Threat to Irish Democracy
Today I take a look at the behaviour of our three leaders: Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Tánaiste Micheál Martin, and Green party leader Eamon Ryan, and ask who on earth they think they are? We have a government Minister, Catherine Martin, caught lying about the upcoming referendum, and even called out for the same by Head of the Electoral Commission and Supreme Court Judge Marie Baker, yet her lies are still there for all to see, and we have no condemnation of this interefence in the referendums by our leaders.
The only journalist so far to call out this misinformation and to question this has been Gript Media’s Ben Scallan. In what can only be described as a threat to Irish democracy, our three leaders decided to blank both Scallan and his perfectly reasonable question about misinformation.
