We asked Irish political parties their position on HOUSING
How do you solve the housing crisis in Ireland? 🏡
The Irish election takes place this Friday, so we have pulled together some of the leading voices within the political parties asking for your vote.
We asked them to explain in 60 seconds or less, their / their party’s plan for each of the most debated topics coming to the election.
We’ll be diving into housing, immigration, cost of living, the Apple windfall, Palestine and climate change.
Candidates included:
Fianna Fáil – Micheál Martin
Sinn Féin – Eoin Ó Broin
Social Democrats – Gary Gannon
The Green Party – Neasa Hourigan
Labour Party – Darragh Moriarty
People Before Profit – Paul Murphy
Independent – Clare Daly
We offered each party an opportunity to put a candidate forward for these interviews. Fine Gael did not propose a candidate within the initial timeframe, but have since confirmed a time and will appear in future posts within this series. Aontú were contacted, but failed to propose a candidate.
On top of these quick-fire questions, we’ve sat down for a longer chat with each of these candidates
