Welfare Fraud in Ireland
Over the past year, 6,000 cases of suspected welfare fraud was recorded with more than €14 million in public money recovered. One TD says welfare fraud is not a victimless crime, but Social Justice Ireland claims that this is demonising those on welfare payments.
