WOKE IRELAND – IS THE END IN SIGHT? Calls for reform to Gender Recognition Act following UK ruling.

Jana Lunden is the founder of the Natural Women’s Council, Ireland; an organisation established to advocate for women’s rights and address issues related to gender identity and education in Ireland. We discuss the recent UK Supreme Court ruling that the terms “woman” and “sex” in the Equality Act 2010 refer specifically to a biological woman and biological sex; what this could mean for Ireland (which recognises up to 72 “genders”) with calls already being made to have it’s “Gender Recognition Act” reformed.
